Guess who wrote to Santa! There are gifts here for everyone in the family.

BeAnElf.org’s Real Letters to Santa page offers images like the one above of actual Santa letters from children and struggling parents.

Be An Elf recommends teaming up with your friends, adopting one family, and sharing the cost, the work, and the fun.
Reading letters to Santa at a USPS® branch when the Postal Service® still offered the traditional walk-in program. These photos were taken at Los Angeles’ South Central Avenue branch. The program went online in 2020, and now volunteers may mail their gifts from any of 19,000 USPS® branches that offer “label scanning” — the ability to print address labels from the barcoded shipping labels that volunteers print out with each letter to Santa they adopt online.
Be An Elf’s Chief Elf Patrick Reynolds adopted this letter to Santa.
Donations make it possible for BeAnElf to adopt more letters. Patrick Reynolds, Chief Elf at BeAnElf.org, holds letters to Santa adopted by the charity. Chief Elf Patrick holds up letters  Be An Elf adopted. The charity use a portion of its donations to send $100 Target gift cards to families whose letters it adopts online at the USPS® website every Christmas.
Many holiday volunteers find joy and comfort volunteering for this program. Be An Elf has let  thousands of people know about it over the years.
